Summer is finally here! Hip,
hip, horary!!! With summer come lots of fun changes here at
the Learning Gardens.
You will notice a new section towards the end of out newsletter
titled Gardening and Playground News. Please take a moment to
read it over, and see if your family has anything they would
like to add to our outside play spaces. Many of our teachers
have been working very hard to improve these areas for the center.
Other changes to the center include The Summer Camp which will
begin June 14 through August 27. The Summer Campers are school
age children who love to return to the Learning Gardens for
fun activities during their time off from school. With the Summer
Campers back, we also welcome two of our alumni staff back as
well. Rebecca has been with the Learning Gardens off and on
for over 6 years, and Allie was a Student Teacher this spring
in our Caterpillar Classroom. Welcome back Summer Campers!
Another personal change is that my husband and I are going
to welcome a brand new addition to our family come fall. For
those of you that haven't noticed…I'm pregnant: I am due in
late October, and cannot wait to introduce our new little one
to The Learning Gardens Family early next year.
