Welcome Summer!!!!!! Warmer weather
is upon us and we are outside a lot more. PLEASE!!! apply sunscreen
to your child before you drop him/her off at school. We will
reapply the sunscreen in the afternoon.
Swim lessons will start on June 16th. Please have your child
put on their swim suit before they come to school. Please put
underwear and socks in a separate bag for when we come back
to change clothes. Also have your child wear sandals or slip
on shoes. Any questions please ask.
In June we will be starting to promote tooth brushing in the
classroom. Please bring in a child sized toothbrush and toothpaste
with their name labeled on them.
Fieldtrips for June/July will be June 18th Madison Metro, July
8th Geology Museum, July 23rd Madison Library.
We will be closed on Monday July 5th.
Parent/teacher conferences will be held on Wed. July 21st from
6-9pm. More details will follow.
Some of the themes for the months ahead will be Farm/farm animals,
camping, cowboys/western, 4th of July, dinosaurs, summer sports,
children's authors, construction.
On a sad note at the end of June we will be saying good-bye
to Austin and his family, they will be going to a center closer
to home. We wish them the best. We will also be saying a short
good-bye to Eric and his family, but Eric will be back in the
fall.
