Polar Bears
Kris Dingfelder & Andrea Cummings

We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season! Also, we hope all of you have enjoyed the extremely mellow Winter we have had thus far!!! Now, all we have to do is survive the next few months of cold and snow. At least we'll have some upcoming celebrations like Chinese New Year, National Soup Month, Ground Hog's Day, Valentine's Day, Super Bowl, & President's Day; just to name a few! Also, the Polar Bear Room will start working on our Alphabet in January. Each week we will introduce a new letter and theme the lesson plan off of that letter! Parents, start watching for them to begin pointing out familiar letters to you as they see them throughout their World!!!

We would like to welcome some new families to the Polar Bear Room! Hello to Helen, Brooke, Mara, Violet, Adam, Jacob & Elliot! Please help these new families feel welcome within our classroom!!! And as always with adding new friends sometimes we must say good-bye to others. Natalie has moved up to the Dandylion Room, and we wish her the best of luck! Don't be a stranger!!!

Since we're looking forward to a few more cold months please remember to bring in your child's winter gear everyday! To be safe & healthy outside everyone should be wearing snow pants, coats, boots, waterproof mittens & hats!!! Also, check your child to be sure that all of these things are fitting properly! Tight gear is never any fun to wear.

In short, the months of January & February should be bringing lots of interesting things to learn and do! Drive safe & keep warm!
