Polar
Bears
Kris Dingfelder & Amanda Bettin
Hello everyone! As we welcome
summer weather we want to keep in mind a few things. Please
remember to keep cubbies stocked with weather appropriate clothing
along with sun hats. We will always go outside and play unless
the heat index is above 90 degrees or its storming. Wednesdays
are going to be our water play days. We have plenty of little
swimmers for everyone to use but if you would like to bring
more, we can always use extras!
We are still working on the alphabet for lesson plan themes.
Our friends are really showing interest in the kitchen and dramatic
play area so we purchased a couple new toys for that area. One
is a wooden pizza to help us work on our shapes and fine motor
skills and another is a basket of fruit and vegetables. We also
have a new cupcake shape match activity that is pretty cool!
We are having fun in our improved backyard playground. There
are many changes taking place at the moment including adding
many natural items like real logs, rocks and even a garden.
We would like to welcome Emily Hagen and her family to the
Polar Bear room. She has transitioned from the Teddy Bears.
Its nice to have you join us and we look forward to getting
to know you and your family!
Please remember that on June 4th we are having a parents day
at the center. We would like to honor all Parents with Bagels
and Coffee in the morning! June 27th is Crawdaddy Cove Family
day. Also we are closed on Monday July 5th.
Thank you all and have safe and fun summer!
