Hello Rainbow Families!
We have been lucky to get outside a lot this winter. Please remember to bring coats, hats, mittens, snow pants and boots. Hats with velcro work best and mittens work better than gloves. We go outside everyday if weather permitting. When we can't get outside, we spend time in the little gym and playroom. Sometimes when the big gym is free, we spend time in there. We have been very busy exploring and doing fun activities. We have been learning our colors and shapes. We have been exploring ice, water and snow in the sensory table. The children have really been into building. They have been building with big legos, little wooden blocks and bristle blocks. We have been listening and dancing to different kinds of music. We have dance to the "Latin Playground", "Global Dance Party" (music from around the world), Steel Drum CD and right now their favorite song is the "Mickey Mouse March".

We said good-bye to some friends in December. Adam moved up to Polar Bears and Anand and Sebastian moved up to Sunflowers. We will miss them very much and wish them luck in their new rooms. We have three new friends in our room. Michael moved up from Bumble Babies. Juliette and Rishi are new to our room and our center. We are very excited to have our new friends with us. Benson will be joining us in the beginning of February. We are excited to have him join our group.

We have made some changes to the layout of our lesson plan and daily sheets. Please check your child's basket regularly to see if they have enough extra clothing. Remember to label everything your child brings in, it makes it easier so items don't get mixed up.

If you have any questions or concerns please call. Our extension is 108.
