Happy Winter Sunshine Families!
Are you enjoying the snow? Your children have sure loved playing
in it. Where was all of this winter weather during the holiday
season? Thank you all for making sure your child has had their
snow gear ready, this help us a ton. We also appreciate child
friendly boots, gloves, and snow pants. We have 21 kiddos with
only 2 teachers so it helps us a ton when your child can dress
themselves.
At the end of January we will start featuring a child of the
week. This will include sharing a poster of pictures and special
things about your child. During star of the week the child will
be able to share something special each day, invite a parent/grandparent
to lunch or snack, and bring a special snack to share with the
class.
The last week in January we will be learning about Chinese
New Year. We are so lucky to have Brayden's mom Ying come in
ad tell us about the tradition. We love when parents/grandparents
can come and play with us! Please feel free to let us know if
you would want to come in and teach/read something to our class.
We want to send a big THANK YOU to Ali's Nonnie and Papa for
visiting with a birdseed project last December. It was a hit!
For the month of February we will focus on ways to keep our
bodies healthy with hand washing, teeth brushing, exercising,
and making healthy food choices.
We hope you stay safe and warm this winter season. Thanks for
sharing your kids with us everyday! We love them a ton and are
so lucky to have such a great classroom. Sunshine's Rock!!
