Treehouse
Jaime Doyle & Natalie Maksimuk
Summer is here! It was so unseasonably warm at the end of Spring
that we have already slathered up with sunscreen and enjoyed
water play outside! We have been watching bugs through the magnifier
Axel's mom, Wendy, brought in for us and have especially enjoyed
watching caterpillars Jaime found on a tree. KC has also joined
our unit for a few outdoor music sessions.
All of our Treehouse friends are growing so quickly! The warm
weather came just in time to stretch our restless legs as one
of our new favorite games is running around with friends and
chasing in circles on the playground or in the gym. All of our
friends are also showing off their newly acquired verbal abilities!
We are hearing new words and even some sentences every day,
and have become quite the class of singers during lunch time.
Several of our friends are also discovering the difference in
colors as we are talking about colors week-by-week.
Our Treehouse friends have several birthdays this summer: Axel
will turn two in June, Shaila and Henry turn two in July! Also
with summer come summer vacations. If you and your family will
be out of town, please let us know so that we may plan ahead.
Teacher Natalie will be out of the classroom July 12-16 for
vacation.
Family Reminder: The Learning Gardens Crawdaddy Cove Family
Day will be on Sunday, June 27 from 1-5 p.m. More information
to follow.
